Née des nationalisations de 1936. Elle réunit les usines Hanriot de Bourges et Farman de Boulogne-Billancourt.
En 1945, l'usine d'Issy-Les-Moulineaux ex Loire Nieuport revient dans son giron.
Mise en liquidation en juin 1949, certaines usines furent reprises par la S.N.C.A.N..
